Trip to Florida

The month of April has been a world wind of trips, parties, and house renovations - all of which started with our visit to South Florida the first weekend of the month.

The trip was scheduled for 2 reasons - my friend Lauren's wedding, and seeing my cousin's Patti, Tim and Grey.

We planned the flight down on Friday for this trip so that we would be taking off when Peter was usually going down for a nap (hoping he would sleep through the flight) - this would have worked great had the flight been on time (we didn't think about a possible delay). However, Peter did great; falling asleep before we took off and waking up with just enough time to eat before we landed. When we landed my cousin Patti was jumping up and down outside the security gates (typical BeVard behavior), and we headed to her house in Palm Beach Gardens for a night of pizza and relaxation.

Saturday the first thing of the agenda was Waterpalooza, where we learned about water conservation and got our picture in the local paper.


After Waterpalooza we headed back to the Leonards house for some water fun of our own, sitting by the pool and relaxing before we got ready for the wedding.
