Later that night (Dec 19), Peter's God Parents, Alex and Troy Goode, came over for dinner and to exchange Christmas gifts.They brought their puppy, Yoshi, (who I spoiled with a new Christmas sweater and some candy cane dog bones... he is the closest thing I have to a nephew right now) so Peter had lots of entertainment until it was time for him to go to bed.
After Peter's bed and bath time, the adults hung out, opening gifts and playing a girls verses boys game of spades while Aaron got kisses from Yoshi. The boys were losing the game until a last ditch effort in the last round of going blind nil (the hail Mary of Spades) and actually getting it (and the 200 points that come along with it).Even though I lost the game it was a super fun night, and Alex and I will be demanding a rematch soon!
