Restore Community Church (a new church that our friend and former New Life preacher, Ron Klabundi is planting) had a booth set up at the Sterling Fireworks. I was tasked with face painting, and Brett was responsible for talking with people about Generosity Can - a non-profit associated with the church.
Face painting quickly turned to strange body painting when one kid asked for a target on his back (we were next to a pool, so many of the boys didn't have shirts on).
The event was successful, and after we were done "working" we enjoyed the fireworks show before heading back to Annandale.
